Delga Press becomes an Associate Member of the BVA
17th April 2011
Delga Press is pleased to announce its associate membership of the British
Video Association (BVA).
The BVA was established in 1980 to represent the interests of publishers and
rights owners of pre-recorded video home entertainment. It continues to do this to this day for an audiovisual sector which is the strongest of all the
entertainment software sectors in the UK.
The BVA is a cross representation of the entire industry. Its members encompass large and small film studios, television companies and
independent video labels and account for over 90% of an industry worth over £2 billion, and one which has grown vigorously in volume every year as the
market diversifies into multiple platform delivery.
In a world of new opportunities and evolving technology, the BVA champions
this progress and aims to encourage a business environment to facilitate the
continuing success of the Home Entertainment Industry.
Delga Press is looking forward to working closely with other members of the
BVA during this exciting time of growth within the industry.
Delga Press sponsors the BVA Awards 2011
15th April 2011
The annual BVA Awards is considered the highlight and number 1 event in the
film industry’s social calendar and Delga Press is pleased to announce its
involvement with this year’s awards by way of a sponsor.
Having been a major supplier of packaging and printed parts to the UK and
European entertainments industry for the past 50 years, it seemed
appropriate for us to support the industry in which we work.
The Awards will be held on 5th May at Old Billingsgate and will attract more
than 1000 guests from the entertainment sector. The evening will be a
celebration of the creative and commercial successes of the film business, the
largest sector in the audiovisual industry.
Delga would like to wish all those nominated for an award the very best of
luck.
