Chris Browne joins Delga Press as Structural Designer for packaging.

Chris recently joined Delga Press as a structural designer. Creating packaging that works is paramount and our structural design team are a crucial part of the process in ensuring that the packaging we produce is fit for purpose. Working with product samples to test and improve packaging solutions.
Chris was a cut & crease diemaker for 21 years which gave him the knowledge to move into the structural design side of packaging. He had two gift packs shortlisted for Pack of the Year.

We asked Chris a few questions so you can get to know him and what he likes to do in his free time outside of work.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
Now I have finished the home Improvements which lasted 5 years, the whole house was redesigned (me the structural side and Karen the décor and attention to detail) looking forward to lots of eating out which is a favourite pastime for me and Karen as well as short breaks away, then there is also the odd scooter rally to fit in.
Have you got a favourite quote / saying?
"Take each day as it comes."
Do you prefer sweet or savoury?
I enjoy both but more savoury when sipping a nice glass of Provence Rose down in Nice with a side of Socca (chickpea flat bread) and Pissaladière (French Pizza with anchovies)
What’s your favourite film?
...Singer/band: Most obvious is Paul Weller, but Miles Kane is a big favourite along with a band Stone Foundation
...Book: Read a bit about the holocaust and how that shaped people and how they survived, we are privileged to be where we are even today.
